The Bahá’í Experience

When I ‘discovered’ the Bahá’í Faith, I was overcome with thirst for more information, rising at dawn for prayers, and following the principles. My declaration was transformative. I immediately signed up for Pilgrimage and went to Haifa soon after.

Christians will have a different perspective because this is a deeply profound and personal experience. It can feel like being born again. Those who die and are revived have a similar experience of meeting the Divine and being totally known, understood, and deeply loved, in spite of their shortcomings and other failings.
Christians will tie this to Christ, Bahá’ís often have an experience of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá or Bahá’u’lláh, as I did. This can feel exclusive to one faith or another, but in Truth, it is personalized for the individual for their comfort. This is something that any loving parent would do.
